What are movies and shows similar to the Jericho series concept and/or genre?
I just started watching the Jericho series, and I started became interested in its concept. Are there any other shows or movies that are about post nuclear war scenarios? Those with a group of survivors trying to survive? Last man on earth movies (besides I Am Legend)? Group of survivors starting a new civilization with conflicts involving other survivors from another group? Post nuclear war scenarios?

There is one called Jeremiah with Luke Perry that they show on SYFY that isn’t too bad.

There are two more similar stories of post-apocalyptic survivors coming to TV in 2010:
Day One (midseason on NBC) and the still not named Speilberg project with Noah Wyle for TNT – both of these have alien invasions that leave a post-apocalyptic earth and the show follows the survivors.

There is a show called The Survivors in England, which has had two runs (one was a remake of the original). I haven’t located a copy, but I have talked to some English fans who loved it. It was the story of survivors after a plague.
Jeremiah (JMS of Babylon 5 fame produced Jeremiah) ran for two seasons on Showtime (?) and Sy Fy shows it in mini marathons. The first season made it to DVD, but the second season never got released. This was also a plague based story of the survivors.
