thanks in advance.

    molecular bonds results separate ions in water example Nacl + h2o -Na+ cl+, but some molecular bonds are not example c6h12o6 {glucose}

    not much will happen to molecular bonds. molecular bonds are much tighter than H-bonds (bonds formed with association of water) so your answer should be nothing.

    reading some of the other answers, i want to make sure you understand what a *molecular* bond is. *molecular* bond refers to covalent linkages. ionic bonds (metal-non-metal) are not molecular bonds.

    if the bonds are ionic, the compound disolves and the molecules sepperate into their respective ions

    if the bonds are covalent, either the compound breaks up into individual molecules or dosnt dissolve
