I’m really into the equity markets but I don’t have any experience with them besides being a trader myself. While I’m at this, I’m trying to obtain a finance degree as well since I’m really interested in this field. I actually read a number of books out of leisure already ranging from fundamental to technical analysis…..I’m also familiar with EPS, ROE, PE etc along with the basics.

I am a finance major from Florida International University and have had some accounts payable work experience. My question is what good career can I find with a Finance major with about 3 years experience in accounts payable. I am in a dilemma because finance majors ussually end up with sales and commision only positions. So what can I do so my degree wont be wasted because I have noticed that account payable careers are usually left for non-degree candidates and accounting careers are left for accounting majors. And I don’t want to waste my time and money with more toilet paper refering to another degree. So what should I do so my finance degree won’t go to waste.

I just fnished my finance degree, but now I am clueless as to what job sector I should go into. I know that there is banking, insurance etc. but what would be the best choice? I would want a job where I can move up and is also fun to do. Any advice is highly appreciated.

I am looking into a Master of Finance Degree, with a possibility of obtaining a CFA License. My question how successful is Master of Finance degree along with a CFA if one does not work at a bank, however a fortune 500 company, Textron, etc. I need some advice.

I'm working part time (35 hours a week) as a bookkeeper and tax analyst and still have a few more classes to take until I graduate with a finance degree. Is bookkeeping and tax analyzing good to put on my resume before I graduate and apply for a financial analyst position or should I seek another job?

I've tried searching for an internship, but they're all too far from where I live and go to school. Would bookkeeping and tax analyzing look good on my resume?
